So its all over for another year.
We had one new staff volunteer, a previous child on camp, and four new kids who we hope will be back next year and bring their friends! The weather was great and the only serious rain was from 3am to 8am mid week. The sun was out most of the days. The camp was really laid back and everyone seemed to enjoy the vibe. We had paddling in the river, a water hydration station and cooling spray. The Pea Fair and show went well and the yak was back with a new master who wowed us all. We had songs, jokes, everyone got an award and we had the return of the ever popular Donald Trump in the show and opening the Pea Fair.
Setup and clear down was lower in stress due to our small advance team of volunteers.
